Our goal is for your child to mature
into a preschooler who is
ready, willing, and able to take the next step
toward positive and healthy development.
We are located in Sunset Heights, between Yale and Studewood, just north of
20th Street. We converted this beautiful bunglow in 2012 and are excited to offer preschool options in our neighborhood. We have created a cozy and comfortable environment with small teacher to
student ratios so each child gets a quality education in a nuturing environment.
We believe in the development and enhancement of the whole child. The main source of security and identity for the young child are the parents. We reinforce this
security for the child when in our care by providing a loving, safe, and home-like atmosphere. The program also aims for a balance of structure, free choice, and consistency, while providing
age-appropriate experiences through play.
We are a preschool that has an educational day that runs 9am-2pm. We offer early bird services from 7am-9am, and stay and play hours from 2-5:30pm. You do not need
to be a Heights Preschool student to use the stay and play hours. If you need a break or just want to have a few hours to yourself consider letting us watch the kids. We offer parent night out, drop
in hours 2pm-5:30pm, camps, and parent and me classes.
We are accepting applications to be on the waitlist for the 2016-17 school year. The
waitlist will roll over from year to year. Please fill out the school application with a $50 application fee to be placed on the waitlist. Please see the student handbook for more information on the
right hand side under the school forms tab.
Click on the Parent's Night Out tab at the top to sign up.
Also we have room available everyday from 2pm-5:30pm for community members to drop
in and use our extended day services at $10 an hour.
